1) Custom colours
The time will invariably arise where your customer (or his architect) asks for something different for their braille signage. Braille Options can certainly fill this need for you. The examples here show how you can take a sign printed on clear material, and the customer’s colour choice can be back sprayed to match their décor. Patterns and designs (including logos if desired) can also be digitally printed on the reverse side for a dramatic result. We are also able to supply panels in acrylic to any shape from 3 mm upwards. Alternatively, we are happy to have you supply your own pre-painted plates with a matte finish (along with the artwork file) for us to print the tactile & braille elements for you. PMS colours or cmyk codes ensure a good colour match.
2) Custom Layouts
There will always be someone who asks for something out of the ordinary when it comes to designs. It may be the shape of the figurines, the font type, or something else to fit a particular situation such as room designations, directory panels, or more descriptive tactile & braille than the standard designs. Another example of this is the hearing/Audio Loop signage for public buildings. You the customer can supply us with a working file of the layout and we will do the rest.
3) Standard & non-standard
There is such a huge array of signage that now requires the addition of braille text to comply with the Australian standards. Most suppliers have a standard range that they may or may not be able to extend to encompass your client’s wishes. You the customer can supply us with a working file of the layout and we will do the rest. Here at Braille Options, we are generally able to closely match existing signage that your customer may already have. We will also work with you on a wholesale basis by just supplying the sign and allowing you to apply any backing boards, colours, etc if you are able to do so.
4) Miscellaneous UV prints
Not all textured signage has braille, but we have done some special awards that meet that “something special” tag. Here are a few examples. Printing both front and back of clear acrylic can produce some unusual and eye-catching awards.
